Engineering & Planning
We perform civil engineering design and modeling, primarily for projects in areas that are environmentally sensitive, coastal or flood-prone. We also engineer environmental restoration, cleanup and green infrastructure projects ranging from stream restoration to hazardous material remediation. Cypress provides land planning services for sustainable development, infrastructure, and ecosystem restoration.
Ecosystem & Coastal Restoration
We specialize in ecosystem restoration and coastal restoration, including feasibility assessment, baseline site assessment, project engineering & design, construction management, as-built site assessment and monitoring.
Our project experience ranges through the Gulf of Mexico, Caribbean and South Atlantic area and spans habitat types and landscape position including streams, bottomland forests, savannas, forested headwaters, depressional wetlands, estuarine marshes, emergent tidal wetlands, submerged aquatic vegetation (SAV) and living shorelines.
We provide a wide range of environmental science services, studies and regulatory compliance, ranging from wetland delineations, endangered species surveys to mitigation planning, banking and ecological function assessment.
Our staff has authored multiple ecological assessment methods in use by federal and state agencies for ecosystem assessment, mitigation and measuring project performance.
