Cypress Environment & Infrastructure is a civil engineering and environmental consulting firm on the Gulf Coast. We design, inspect and permit public and private projects from offices in Biloxi, Mobile and Pensacola, and we are licensed in Mississippi, Alabama, Louisiana, Florida and Georgia.
Much of our work is centered on civil engineering design. Our environmental scientists work on the same projects, so wetland lines, permit conditions and design drawings come from one team.

Wetland delineation
- Delineations to the 1987 Corps manual and the regional supplement
- Jurisdictional determinations (JDs)
- Boundaries mapped with high-accuracy GPS, with drone aerial mapping where it helps

- Mobile, Vicksburg, New Orleans and Jacksonville Districts of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers
- Threatened and endangered species, gopher tortoise, SAV and shellfish surveys
Mitigation banking and compensatory mitigation

- Baseline assessments, monitoring and credit release
- Credit calculations and permittee-responsible mitigation plans

Ecosystem restoration
- Marsh, stream and floodplain restoration design
- Living shoreline and marsh restoration
- Monitoring and performance metrics
Phase I and II ESAs and remediation
- Phase I and Phase II environmental site assessments
- Remediation planning and cleanup design
NPDES stormwater compliance inspections
