Little Biloxi River Mitigation Bank
The 166-acre Little Biloxi River Mitigation Bank is a recently approved wetlands mitigation bank in the USACE Mobile District. It is the second coastal Mississippi bank with stream credits available for purchase.
Available credit types include:
- Pine savanna
- Stream
- Bottomland hardwood forest
Work completed at this site includes wetland delineation, threatened / endangered species study, habitat mapping, stream mapping, ecological function assessments, stream assessments, restoration success criteria, and a baseline ecological site profile.
